RABBIT HOLE
Rabbit Hole is about painting, which has been an integral part of Jet Pascua’s studio practice ever since he studied painting at the University of the Philippines under Roberto Chabet.
Painting has always been an intimate endeavor and a thread that leads him back to creativity in periods of lull or in between projects. The act of painting is also an act of meditation and getting lost and spiral down in one’s thought.
Rabbit hole also refers to the methods used in the process of making the paintings. They are influenced and determined by images, stories, and news articles that pop up in Jet’s social media feed, the internet, and from Google searches after Google searches.
